Sarah Sorenson was recognized at ODK Honors Assembly at Morningside College

Morningside College student Sarah Sorenson, daughter of Dianna Sorenson of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Russell Sorenson of Sioux Falls, S.D., was recognized recently during the annual Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) Honors Assembly at Morningside College.

Sorenson received the Stephen Jay Gould Award, presented to a student who best exemplifies the spirit of the liberal arts college and has a record of excellence in biology, chemistry and the humanities, and she received the Department of Modern Languages Book Award.

She is a graduate of Lincoln High School.

ODK is a national leadership honor society that recognizes and encourages superior scholarship, leadership and exemplary character.
