Nicholas Brincks Named to Dean's Honor List at Morningside College

Nicholas Brincks, son of Gerald and Renee Brincks of Carroll, Iowa, was named to the Dean's Honor List at Morningside College for the 2012 spring semester.

Brincks, a junior who is majoring in mass communication, is a past graduate of Kuemper Catholic High School. Brincks had a perfect 4.00 grade point average for the semester.

Each semester the Dean's Honor list recognizes students who achieve a 3.67 grade point average or better and complete at least 12 credits of course work with no grade below a "C-." William C. Deeds recently released the 2012 spring semester Dean's Honor List, and each student received a letter of recognition from Deeds.

Morningside College enrolled 2,047 full-time and part-time students for the 2011-12 academic year and welcomes students of all faiths and backgrounds. Morningside offers five bachelor's degrees, including bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of music, bachelor of music education, and bachelor of nursing, and a master of arts in teaching career. The college was founded in 1894 by the Methodist Episcopal Church and remains affiliated with the United Methodist Church today.
