Kayla Stehlik named to Dean's Honor List at Morningside College

Kayla Stehlik, daughter of John and Patty Stehlik of Dorchester, Neb., was named to the Dean's Honor List at Morningside College for the 2010 fall semester.

Stehlik, a senior who is majoring in business administration, is a past graduate of Dorchester High School.

Each semester the Dean's Honor List recognizes students who achieve a 3.67 grade point average or better and complete at least 12 credits of course work with no grade below a "C-." William C. Deeds recently released the fall 2010 Dean's Honor List, and each student received a letter of recognition from Deeds.

Morningside College enrolled 1,991 full-time and part-time students for the 2010 fall term and welcomes students of all faiths and backgrounds. Morningside offers five bachelor's degrees, including bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of music, bachelor of music education, and bachelor of nursing, and a master of arts in teaching degree. The college was founded in 1894 by the Methodist Episcopal Church and remains affiliated with the United Methodist Church today.
